When I began working with Roy in 2020, I wanted to become more effective in my lawn care business and develop a new vision for my life. I lacked clarity about where I was going and confidence in making important decisions for myself, my business, and future generations. I also didn’t yet understand what it meant to approach life and business in partnership with God.

Through my time with Roy, I began to understand that being effective is less about what you do and more about who you are. I became more grounded in my identity and learned to revisit what God had said, seek the Holy Spirit for guidance, and allow that relationship to shape the decisions I made in both life and business.

That shift changed the way I viewed success. I used to believe I needed to take on more work and bigger projects to become more successful and build my own empire. Through Roy’s counsel, I realized I was building my identity on something my character wouldn’t be able to sustain.

Today, seeking God’s guidance in my life and business is a continuous practice that I attribute to our time together. The lessons, principles, and counsel I received from Roy have been timeless. I would not be the man, son, brother, business owner, and friend I am today without them.
